Strengths:
Long range fightingWeapons: Shin has two swords, one kanata (which she keeps sheathed at her side at all times) and one kodachi (a smaller, more versatile sword which is hidden in the folds of her robes). Both bear the Sasori family emblem, a black and red scorpion poised for attack.
A bit of bio…
Shin’s mother died while giving birth to her, thus leaving her father, a shogun, to raise Shin alone. Tsurugi raised and trained his daughter well; reminding her that being an only child, she was his sole successor. Despite all this TLC, Tsurugi always managed to let it slip that he would have preferred a son. Thus leading to Shin’s cross dressing.
Personality and other (useless/unwanted) fact and trivia: As mentioned before, Shin is very polite and formal due to her upbringing, so she tends to remain silent unless addressed and spoken to directly. She always under-estimates herself and has a high regard on other fighters. She also refers to everyone as *insert last name here*-san (or *insert last name here*-sama, depending on the person). She is very obedient and disciplined (you try having a samurai for a dad;;;) and usually follows orders without hesitation. She is originally right handed, but due to her father’s constant (harsh) training, she is now ambidextrous (the Sasori family’s fighting style is known for attacking their opponents using two blades). Since Shin loves animals so much, she is a devoted animal rights activist and a vegetarian. Although very enduring, persevering and hard working, Shin has the tendency to suddenly fall asleep, regardless of the time, place or situation (e.i. walking, during a conversation… eating, training, fighting and praying are the only exceptions).
Has a fetish for animals (especially cute ones, and most especially reptiles).
Very timid, laid back, overly-polite and “noble.” Hates her true gender and tries to hide it by using a multitude of bandages (…you know what I mean.)Techniques…
Cyclone Slash: Shin rapidly rotates her katana to create the illusion of a vortex/tornado/whatever spiral thing to distract/confuse her opponent, then attacks/strikes using her kodachi when the person least expects it.
Short Cyclone Slash: Same as the Cyclone Slash, only this time Shin uses her kodachi as the distraction and the katana to strike.
Dual Sword Tempest: Another revision of the Cyclone Slash, only this time spinning both katana and kodachi at the same time and attacking/striking using both alternatively in a fast paced rhythm.
Windmill Assault: Shin crosses both swords in front of her body and spins them (and her arms) in a windmill-like way while slashing/attacking/striking her opponent/s. (parang ung exercise thingy sa Arnis last quarter…)

Height:
Is very tall… around 6’0” $4'11 <YOU BITCH I'M TURNING YOU TO A TALL ASS BASTARD.Weight: …is this necessary…? Well I dunno then… normal for her height I guess…
Notable trademarks: Oval, silver-rimmed eyeglasses, a katana held firmly in her hands or hilted at her side, and a bandana tied around either forearm.
Hair: Short, very messy and a dark, mossy shade of green.
Eyes: Brown.
Clothing: Traditional black samurai robes embroidered with that cool swirly-spiral design that Jean drew in green, red, blue, silver and gold thread. Just to clarify, Shin’s outfit is almost completely black; it only has a few white accents (like the edges of the sleeves and the nagajuban or inner-most robe thingy-part). And those psychedelic embroidery designs are on it so she wouldn’t look like someone from Bleach. Wooden sandals…
Over-all appearance: Despite her true (female) identity, Shin looks like a tall young boy with very feminine looks and a MELLOw (I just had to do that… XD) semi-deep voice that would be willing to aid any one in need.
Goal in life: (Just had to put this in… sorry…) “…to be the greatest swordsman (woman?) in the world,” and “to make the great legacy of the Sasori family known to all.” (They’re enclosed in quotation marks because she says those lines a lot… yay~ I’m quoting my character..!)
(useless/unwanted/unasked for) Ideas on How Her True Gender is Discovered:
Shin some how gets injured (stabbed/poisoned/blacked out/ whatever) and to give her more air, the Healer, Lady loosens “his” shirt… yea.
Weird/interesting/what the hell ever (yet useless/unwanted/unasked for) character quirks/habits/traits/trivia:
~As mentioned, she falls asleep at inappropriate moments (is narcoleptic), with the exception of eating, training, fighting, meditating and praying.
~Shin is, as Pat-chan puts it, “legally blind,” as in, she can’t see without her glasses. Well…she can but it’ll be really blurry and whatnot…
~She is easily embarrassed/flattered and tends to blush a lot, especially when faced with an extremely cute or scary creature (by that I mean a kitty-cat or a boa constrictor).
~Shin quotes her dad a lot, and she does so at any moment she sees fit. She usual does so standing, and spreads her legs a little wider, while placing both hands behind her back (imagine CAT or whatever military thing-pose), and says “My father (or Otousama) said this:
*insert the block of quotes I deleted;; They were insperational words really.*"(I raepd so many shows and charas for these quotes;;; but some of them are actually my own… or some twisted, reworded version of what others have said… XD)
