"I underestimated her." Yamira said.
"No you didn't." Yami replied.
"... Why couldn't I read her mind?" Yamira asked, wishing for an answer. She hasn't failed on reading someone's mind for a long time. Not only that, Kaname read HER mind instead.
"Just before we fought her, she said something about instinct right?" Yami said.

"Yes. What about it?"
"She fights without thinking. She talks without thinking. She never thinks. Her body moves on its own. Instinct. She has a lot of it." Yami said.
"... You're rambling again." Yamira stated.
"Ah! Sorry... Theres a lot to say about her! That woman... is scary." Yami sighed.
"I still don't get it... Why can't I read her mind and she can read mine?" Yamira said.
"She's not the kind of person that blindly speaks out her weaknesses." Yami said.
"She's just... Special that way. For a woman that doesn't think, she's pretty smart." Yami stated.
"That didn't make sense." Yamira said.
"It does. You just have to rethink what I just said." Yami said.

"I want to fight her again. Next time, I'll beat her." Yamira said.
"I'm pretty sure you'd meet her again..." Yami said.
"What makes you so sure?"
"... Nothing. Never mind."

- Lady's side -

"You're pretty strong for your age." The man said.
"... Heh... I can barely keep up!" Lady said while blocking the man's attacks while trying to attack him aswell.

The two only used fists. They haven't made a direct attack. But it seems like it won't last that way for too long.

The two stopped; out of breath.

"I... Haven't fought anyone like you before!" Lady said in a positive tone. As if, she's having fun in a deadly fight like this. Obviously the man's strength is overwhelming. And Lady doesn't have that much experience in fighting. She only has the skills.

"Really? It seems like you've been fighting someone like me for a long time." The man said, still trying to catch his breath.
"Not really. 'Been training for a fight, but barely even got to one." Lady said.
The man laughs briefly. The laugh was not mocking, instead it seemed amused.
He stops laughing, then he said: "Well this fight, is disadvantagous for you."

"And why is that?" Lady asked. ( GEKI-DASA DAZE!! LOL SORRY WAS LISTENING TO SHISHIDO'S SONG )

"I've fought many battles, only lost a few. And now, I am about to get serious." The man said.

With blinding speed, he punched Lady's face, and she was sent off flying in the corridors. Before her body disappears from his eyesight, he punched her to the ground.

"This is the end of this fight. So long, young descendant of the ancient. A worthy opponent you are, but you are still too young to be a match for me." The man said.

- Shiawase and Nixme's side -

Shiawase's eyes are closed. The girl was certainly fast.

Shiawase was kicked to the face.

"Told you you're too slow!" The girl said.
Shiawase stayed silent. As if she's so concentrated on getting hit.

More hits to the face, more blows from the back. The fast girl has the advantage now.

"This is boring! Why aren't you attacking?!" The girl complained.
"I'm beating the crap out of you till you start talking again!" The girl said and continued attacking.

Shiawase, still not moving. Still silent. What in the world is she thinking?

- Ayame's side -

"You're a narcissist huh? I can tell." Ayame said.
"Does it matter? You're going to lose anyway." The man said.
"Anyway. My name i--"
"I didn't ask for your name." Ayame said.
"I just plain hate it when I am trying to talk and then someone interrupts me with their ugly voice." The man said bitterly.
"You lo~ve the sound of your voice huh? I hate your kind. It pisses the hell out of me!" Ayame yelled.

The man glared at Ayame with a bitter face. "... Well I certainly do not like YOUR kind." The man declared.

A stab to the throat.

"He should see himself right now. Not a very pretty sight." Ayame said and removed the blade.

- Yagima's side -

Rising from the collapsed wall, Yagima revealed a scratchless face.
"That was a direct hit! I felt it! And that attack was strong enough to kill 5 men! How are you still alive?!" The man demanded an answer.

"I have to admit, your attack was pretty strong. Your accuracy, is that of an impatient 3-year-old." Yagima said while cleaning his clothes.
"Rage DOES give you power. In exchange for power, you gave away accuracy. Accuracy is crucial when fighting with me." He said, laughing.

"I see an opening!" The man said, seeing Yagima just standing, without a stance.

Yagima smiled. He blocked the attack and put out his twin katanas. In a split second, he has defeated his enemy.

"... How?" The man said.
"Good bye, the man with fits of rages whose name I never heard." He said and smashed his buster sword to his head.

- Shiawase and Nixme's side -

Nixme was just watching the girl beat up Shiawase.

'... What is she thinking?' Nixme thought.
"Hey you! You're just standing there watching your friend get beat up!" The girl said while kicking Shiawase. Shiawase stood up and the girl punched her.

"... I trust her." Nixme said quietly.
"Talk louder!" The girl said.
"..."
"HEY! I'm talking to you!" The girl yelled.
"Whatever I'll just go finish off your friend!" The girl said.

When the girl turned around, Shiawase trapped the girl in a blue sphere.

"I noticed your attacks getting slower and weaker!" Shiawase said lively.
The girl can't talk since she cannot breath underwater. ( I get points for stating the obvious )
"You know what I love doing when my opponent is in that sphere?" Shiawase said.

"SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM!" Shiawase said cheerfully while spamming the helpless opponent with lightning bolts.

A shadow from behind.

Shiawase somehow felt the enemy from behind and used a gust of wind to protect herself.

"Wind cannot touch me." The boy said and stabbed Shiawase with a dark blade.

Shiawase was left unconcious. As well as the girl she was attacking.

"I am the shadow..." The boy said silently.
"I control ghosts." Nixme said.
"I'll overwhelm your ghosts with my shadow." The boy said.
"That girl... She's your sister right?" Nixme said suddenly.
"... How did you know about that?!" The boy replied angrily.

"Your parents... Are very sad. Why? Why did you let her fight? Why did you let her train? She is still too young to battle... You yourself is too young." Nixme said weirdly.
"Shut up!" The boy said and tried to attack Nixme with the dark blade he used to attack Shiawase.

The attack was blocked by a gray aura. The aura, was forming a body.

"... Da-Daddy?!" The boy said. He shook his head vigorously.
"What did you do?!" The boy demanded for an answer.
"Your parents souls were following you. They're sad." Nixme said.
"Why? Why are they following me? Why are they sad?" The boy asked.

"I told you already. They're sad because you fight. They're following you because they want to keep you safe. But they can't do anything, since they are dead." Nixme said.

"... Can you revive them?!" The boy pleaded.
"I'm sorry... I'm still not strong enough to do that. I have to do much more to get to that level." She said simply.
"... Can you tell them I'm sorry?" The boy asked.

"They said it's okay. Just stop fighting and save your sister." Nixme said.
"Okay!" The boy said and dashed to his sister. He carried her and ran off.

Before leaving, he said thank you.

"Shi-chan wake up. I know you're awake." Nixme said.
"WHAT? I CAN'T HERE YOU." Shiawase yelled.
"You shouldn't yell. You'd tire yourself more." Nixme said silently.
"WHAT?"
"Nothing..."
"WHAT? I'M SORRY I CAN'T HERE YOU. SPEAK UP."

"..."
"WHAT? YOU SAID SOMETHING?"
"No."
"YOU NEED TO SPEAK LOUDER."
"Do you always yell when you're injured?!" Nixme yelled.
"That's better. But I didn't understand you. " Shiawase said.
"... I think you better rest first." Nixme said.

"But the others might be waiting!" Shiawase said.
"... The others aren't here yet either..." Nixme said.
"BOO. FINE I'LL GO SIT. But after a few minutes we should leave now! Before some other enemy comes in to fight us!" Shiawase said.
"... Okay."

- Ayame's side -

"Now... Where did they go again?" Ayame asked herself outloud.

"I see you defeated that weakling." Another man appeared.
"That man is a rock compared to me." He continued.

"That better be true. I'm a little bored at the moment." Ayame said and sighed.
"Don't take me too lightly." The man said.
"I'll make sure of that." Ayame said, ready to fight.

- Lady's side -

"... Wait..." Lady said weakly.
"Hm? You're still awake?"
"... Why didn't... you kill me?" Lady said slowly.
"I don't have to. My job is to stop the opponent. That's it." The man said.
"What's... your name?" Lady asked. But the man disappeared in a second.
"... We'll meet... again... right?" Lady said. She felt like someone said yes. And she was now unconcious.

- Yami and Yamira's side -

"We better catch up." Yamira said.
"No need to hurry. The clan felt the enemy. And I'm pretty sure everyone is fighting right now." Yami said.
"Then we better hurry even more. We need to help them." Yamira said.
"Eh... Fine." Yami sighed. He didn't want to hurry up.

- Yagima's side -

'Should I go help the next person that left behind or should I wait for the other two?' Yagima thought over and over. He was just standing there. Arguing with himself in his mind.

'I'm a knight, the best knight in the Ivory League. The well trusted servant of the emperor. And I can't decide if I should go help the next person or wait for the other two for morale.' Yagima thought.

"Hey! Isn't that guy with the group?" Someone said from afar.
"Yes. That's Yagima." Yamira said.
"I don't like him. I feel really intimidated around him." Yami said, but in a cheerful voice.
"He can hear you." Yamira stated.
"I know!" Yami said, still in a happy voice.
"What happened to you? Did you turn to a slacker or something?" Yamira said.

"I feel insulted! Me? Turn to a slacker? Impossible!" Yami said, hinting sarcasm.
"I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not." Yamira said.
"Heck, me too! We have so much in common!" Yami said.

"How long did it take for you to walk here?" Yagima suddenly asked.
"Woah! You're weird! Suddenly talking like that! And that question is weird!" Yami said.
"Around ten minutes. Why?" Yamira replied. Ignoring Yami.

'Was I arguing with myself that long...?' Yagima thought. Forgetting that the two can read minds.

"What! You argue with yourself!? Man, you're really weird!" Yami said loudly.
Yagima was a little shocked, and freezed a little.
"Yami just stop it..." Yamira said.
"Okay okay. I'll stop." Yami said and sighed happily.
"I haven't had a laugh like that for ages!" Yami stated.

"And you're calling ME weird." Yagima said silently.
"What did you say?!" Yami said, pretending to be angry.
"Just shut up." Yamira said.
Yagima smirked and Yami got angry again. But Yamira glared at Yami before he even got to complain.

"Why do other men feels really intimidated around you Yagima-san?" Yamira said jokingly.
"I don't know. You tell me that." Yagima said and smirked.
"I didn't know you had this other personality." Yamira said.
He stayed silent, but still smirking. Yami feels like punching him but then again Yamira would get angry.

Yami: I swear I'm going to beat the crap out of that guy when I get the chance!
Yamira: Don't bother.
Yami: What? You think he's stronger than me?!
Yamira: Maybe.
Yami: I seriously don't like that guy.
Yamira: I never met a guy that was never intimidated by Yagima-san.
Yami: He's a bastard! That's why!
Yamira: Is he silently provoking you or something like that?
Yami: I think so!
Yamira: You'll never win in a fight with him.
Yami: A thousand jewels say I can!
Shiawase: I BET TWICE AS MUCH! Well I bet on Yagima though.
Yami: WHAT?! YOU'RE ON HIS SIDE TOO?!
Shiawase: He just seems so stronger than you!
Rukawa: Don't worry dude. I bet on you!
Yami: Alright! You don't like that guy too huh?
Rukawa: Hell yeah. For some reason I want to punch him when I see him.
Rikimura: I bet on you too dude! When that guy smirks, I feel like smashing the whole place to bits then kill him.
Rikimaru: ...
Yamira: "I too feel intimidated by this person..."
Kiku: That was random of you.
Yamira: I was saying what your oldest brother was thinking.
*The siblings laughed*
Ayame: Rikimaru? Intimidated? That doesn't belong in the same sentence! But heck that's funny!
Yagima: What's with all this noise?
The guys: SHUT THE HELL UP!
Yagima: ... Why does everybody hate me that much? *smirks*
The guys yell and start to chase Yagima.
Yagima: How about you? Feel intimidated aswell?
