Roger and Nate of the Akutagawa clan

Now who doesn't like this duo? They just randomly popped in my head.

So Roger and Nate are actually shown first in the whole series. They planned the clan's revenge and whatnot. Well I'll say this now, I will not make them a main boss. Not in any season. No matter how much I want them too.

Season 1 and 4 already has a boss. So season 2 and 3 is available. Season 2 and 3 is reserved for all of you. Even if half of my mind says Roger and Nate should be the main bosses.

I've been thinking of this for a long time. Oh ya, spoiler. Well most of you already knows this, but there are some people who don't. For those who don't, well this spoiler is for the ending of Season one. Read at your own risk.

Roger of the Akutagawa

• Personality: Very impatient and tends to yell a lot. He has a lot of experience in the battle field, and he likes fighting as well. The funny thing about him is that he keeps fighting with his buddy, Nate.

Even if he has a bad mouth and ignorant espesially to Nate, he knows when to stop stop being stubborn in a situation.

He obeys orders, but he never does things he doesn't want to do. No matter what the punishment is.

• Moves: He is fairly fast. His amazing strength is what feared the most. But his accuracy, is quite low. He uses fire element when he gets serious.

~ Normal attacks:

Drive - A fast uppercut. Imagine Dante's back + triangle attack on Rebellion. Or Oishi's moon volley.

Drive Follow - A drive and followed by a horizontal or diagonal slash.

Drive Smash - A drive followed by a powerful vertical slash.

Drive Combo - A powerful combo. A drive followed by two drive follows and a drive smash.

Counter - Right after blocking a sword attack, Roger would step back making the attacker lose balance therefor giving him a chance to attack. One of his favorite moves.

Switch - Roger can switch his speed and power. In exchange for speed, he would give most of his power away. In exchange for power, he would give most of his speed away. There are more things he can switch, like defense and stamina.

Running Attack - While running, Roger would wave his sword like crazy. He usually uses this after he used Switch.

~ Elemental Attacks:

Flame Drive - Same as Drive, but faster and more powerful.

Flame Drive Follow - Same as Drive follow, but faster and more powerful.

Flame Drive Smash - Same as Drive Smash, but faster and more powerful.

Flame Drive Combo - Slightly different from the original. After the drive, are two drive smashes and is followed by a Drive follow. The enemy would be engulfed by flames after this fearsome combo. The probabilty of the enemy surviving, no matter how strong the person is, 1%.

Flame Tornado - Roger spins while jumping. The attack is fast and strong, but this drains Roger's stamina.

Three Strikes from Hell - The strongest attack that Roger has. He uses this a lot, despite the fact that it damages himself. Its very strong and even leaves shockwaves. The fact that he uses this a lot means that it doesn't drain his stamina like Flame Tornado.

• Weaknesses:

- If he's using the fire element, obviously, he is weakened or weak against water attacks.

- He hates it when Nate starts to be a wise ass. When this happens, he loses concentration.

- When he's angry, he doesn't want to do anything. Not even fighting. He cools down after a while if he isn't disturbed.

- He hates fighting with a person using a ranged weapon. He tends to avoid those kind of fights.

- His biggest weakness is... Quite strange... When he sees a little teddy bear, he loses the will to do anything.

• Strengths:

+ His power multiplies if he's in a good mood. Maybe because he's usually in a bad mood?

+ During and after he eats, he dislikes to be disturbed. If he gets disturbed, he'd yell about it all day. Also, after he eats, he usually relax or take a nap. If this is followed, his will to do anything would increase even if he is disturbed afterwhile.

• Appearance:

Hair: Black spiky hair with bright red
Eye color: Dark red

Height: 5'8 ( I wanted Nate to be taller than him )

Accessories:

He wears a black necklace all the time. This may be the sorce of his power.

He also wears a power bracelet on his left hand.
Sometimes, he wears a compresser orb on his right arm which decreases his power on that arm. Perhaps he does this because he wants to even the power on his left and right arm.

• History:

Not much is known about him, but he seems to be friends with Nate for a very long time.

He doesn't mention, or refuse to mention about his family. Nate seems to know why, but he also doesn't talk. Maybe this is a clue for his strange weakness.

This took me about an hour to type Anyway, I'm doing Nate's right now.

Nate of the Akutagawa

• Personality: Usually cool and calm. He knows a lot of things normal people doesn't know. So he likes calling people idiots, espesially Roger who seems not to care about a lot of important things.

Unlike Roger, Nate obeys orders to the full extent. Even if he'd hate himself after doing it.

Nate likes to fight "elegantly". He seem not to move a lot at first, but when you fight with him and survived long enough, he'd start to speed up. He even barely jumps because he thinks that an attack from above does not look very elegant.

He also claims to have a british accent. Roger says its just forced.

• Moves: He is very fast, accurate, and have a great stamina. He doesn't waste any energy, if he does, he goes off punishing himself. Like Roger, he uses an elemental orb when he gets serious, but he uses a wind not fire.

He uses two weapons, a fencing sword and a katana. He usually uses the fencing sword before the katana. If he does use the katana, he usually use it as a dagger. He sometimes switch the two swords.

~ Normal Attacks:

Peirce and Slash - Nate peirces the opponent with the fencing sword on his right hand, whether the attack is successful or not, he will get the katana and try to get another hit. He usually chops off the head of the opponent if he does this.

Snake Bite - A weak attack to the legs. Makes the enemy lose balance. Sometimes followed by Skull Breaker.

Skull Breaker - Nate uses his fencing sword to 'tap' the enemy's head three times.

Attack from above - Nate uses his katana to hit a powerful vertical attack. After that he does an axe kick. Sometimes followed with a diagonal attack.

Neck Breaker - Nate stabs the opponent on the stomach and kicks his neck. Usually paralyzing the enemy.

Sprint to Kill - Nate runs in blinding speed towards the enemy and attacks ten times. The damage, depends on how Nate serious is.

Nate has many normal attacks. But the above are mostly used, or his favorites.

~ Elemental Attacks:

Deadly Peirce - Nate uses either of the two swords ( sometimes even both ) and peirce the enemy from afar. The damage depends on how far the target is, if its farther, it is stronger, unless Nate is tired.

Tornado - Nate's version is weaker than Roger's. But Nate does not get tired at all when he uses this.

Pressure - Nate uses the wind element and wrap the enemy with it. Usually, the opponent will be left all bloody after this attack. And in seconds, they will die from lost of blood.

Intstant Kill - This move is the deadliest of all attacks Nate and Roger has. Its accuracy, well it barely even misses. You will fear this move if you've seen Nate use it. All Nate has to do is stab you, and he will use the wind element to blow you up in the inside. Fast, deadly, and bloody. Don't anger Nate if you don't want to die like this.

• Weaknesses:

- Nate likes peace and quiet. If he is disturbed, his concentration would decrease a lot.

- If Nate loses a fight, he goes punishing himself. And will not accept any missions until he gets stronger.

- Nate's biggest weakness is... pretty things. If he sees something pretty, he'd do anything to get it. Although, if he fights someone pretty ( LOL ) he would do anything to crush that person so he'll be the only pretty person in the room. ( :rofl )

• Strengths:

+ Nate is not all talk. If he says something, he will prove it. Unless he's having a fight with Roger.

+ If Nate wins a fight against Roger, he goes in a happy mood.

+ Plants makes him happy for some reason.

+ If he's in a good mood, he'll start doing unusual things.

• Appearance:

Hair: I have not yet decided what his hairstyle is, but I would like it to be silver/white/gray.
Eye Color: Purple

Height: 6 flat ( I imagined him tall )

Accessories:

He wears a pretty bracelet on his left wrist. What its effect is unknown. Maybe he wears it because its pretty...

Sometimes he wears a blinder and walks around. He usually does this when he's in a good mood. Nobody tries to talk to him if he does this.

• History:

He also doesn't talk about his family a lot. Its not like he doesn't want to, no one just asks. Maybe they're afraid that he'd talk about it for an hour.

Like Roger, not much is known about him. But it is sure that they'd been friends before they joined the Akutagawa clan.

Roger and Nate as a team

As a team, they show amazing potential. They sure argue a lot, but they know when to stop goofing around.

They know eachother well, and they do not underestimate eachother in the battlefield.

It is implied that they never had a 1 on 1 before. The reason is unknown.

As a team, they don't practice combos. Their combos is never practiced and always comes out random. So the enemy wouldn't get any 'data' or anything that would make as an advantage.

This amazing duo has lots of differences. The most important thing you need to know so you won't get confused is:

* Roger uses the fire element on his sword. Nate uses the wind element on himself.

Roger has low stamina, and he couldn't handle the power of the element if he uses it on himself.

As for Nate, he would need to use two wind elements if he wants to use it on his swords. This would drain his stamina more than using it on himself.

Now who doesn't like this duo? I practically love this two. They just randomly popped up, and I love myself for that. I enjoyed typing this, and if this was an episode, I would be very happy. But alas, it is not. Anyway, I'm off doing either Rukawa's or Yagima's. LOL They're both guys.
