Recap:
"Kiku. Let me handle her." Rukawa said. Blocking both of the girls swords with his own. ( Think Hitsugaya blocking Kira's and Hinamori's sword when Hinamori turned psycho. )
"Hmph. You always take the fun on everything." Kiku said and sheathed the sword.
"Tch. Fighting both of ya at the same time would cause too much damage. Ja na!" Yuna said and left with a poof of smoke.
The familiar voice disappeared.
"See what you did Rukawa!" Kiku yelled at her brother.
"Now its my fault!" Rukawa yelled back.
"Yeah! Because you just had to show off!" ( Doesn't your throat hurt when you yell like that? :0 )
"I wasn't showing off!" ( Ri~ght. )
"*ahem* The food is ready." Nixme tried to convince the two to stop fighting by announcing the food is ready.
"Great! I'm famished!" the two said at the same time. They glared at eachother and ran to the table.
"Kiku turned to a whole new person!" Shiawase said to Yamira.
"And it's scary." Yamira proclaimed plainly. ( Scary? *raise eyebrow* )
The two were eating rather fast. As if in a competition.
The three girls can't help but stare.
"Kiku your personality changed." Yamira said.
"[Insert sound of food being eaten here] Deal with it." Kiku said almost not caring. ( Almost? )
The three girls still can't help but stare.
And then Kiku finally stopped eating.
"Why'd you stop?" Rukawa was able to said while nearly drowning himself with water. ( :0 )
"It's useless. No one can beat you on stuffing your mouth with food." Kiku said and started eating slowly this time.
"That's so like you. Giving up before the fight ends." Rukawa said and ate a little bit slowly. ( Just a little! )
"I believe an eating contest isn't considered as a fight." Yamira stated.
"You don't have a brother don't you?" Kiku asked. Yamira ignored the question. Kiku doesn't like it if she was ignored. But she let that one slip, for now...
Kiku turned to her brother again. "Hoi baka!" ( Yelling again huh? )
Rukawa looked at her while slurping some noodles. "What?" ( You said that while there are noodles in your mouth!? :0 )
"Haha you looked. Anyway, why did you leave me in the cave again?" Kiku asked.
"Do I have to tell you now?" Rukawa turned a little bit serious. ( A little bit :3 )
"Why not? I'm sure everyone else wants to hear it too." Kiku said and took a glass of water.
"But I'm eating!" Rukawa said in a childish voice.
"Well you usually tell me stories while you're eating! What's wrong now?" ( Woah, changed attitudes again? And both of you did! )
"Hmm... Fine!" ( You sound like you're the younger one :0 )
"I woke up *slurp* when you were *chomp* sleeping. Ayame and Rikimura *glug* were gone." Rukawa managed to say it clearly for everyone to understand.
'I knew I shouldn't have encouraged him on telling the story while eating...' Kiku thought.
"So you decided to leave too?" Kiku said jokingly. Rukawa almost choked on his noodles.
He suddenly stood up and wiped his mouth with his arm swiftly and said:
"Don't even joke about that!" He yelled. The four girls were speechless.
Then he finally realized what he just said.
"Uh... I mean... Nevermind... On to the story..." he mumbled and sitted down slowly.
"Uh... More please." he said and grinned nervously as he scratch his head.
"Su-sure." Nixme took the bowl and went to get more noodles.
'I don't know what he meant a while ago, but he eats and he eats and never get fat.' Kiku thought.
"Thanks." Rukawa said and took the bowl.
"No problem." Nixme smiled and took a seat.
"I saw two shadows *slurp* when I tried to look for them. *Glug* The two shadows started to run really fast *slurp* so I followed them *chomp* until I realized *slurp* I arrived in the city of Raluxzen." he still managed to say something clearly while eating.
"And you lost track of the 'shadows'?" Kiku asked.
"Yeah. *Glug* And I realized I forgot to put my hood on. *Slurp* For some reason *slurp* this guy knows who I am and chased me. *Chomp* I outran him *slurp* but he called for backup." I don't know how this guy does it, but he can tell a story while stuffing his face with noodles.
"*Glug* They've been chasing me around for hours! *Slurp* Ofcourse I'm the one with more stamina. *Slurp* but being chased around is irritating you know!" This guy must have told stories while eating a lot.
"I know what you mean." Kiku proclaimed.
"*Glug* I thought if I suddenly stopped *slurp* they'd get confused for a bit. *Slurp* But I was wrong! *Chomp* They started to throw grenades!"
"Grenades?! Where did you exactly stop?" Kiku asked.
"Yeah! They threw friggin grenades at me in an alley!" he said raising his voice.
"Anyway, I got irritated and started taunting them." he said, finally finished eating.
"Your taunts really provokes people you know." Kiku said and laughed.
"Haha. That coming from you is not surprising." Rukawa said.
"Now what was that supposed to mean?" Kiku said. ( Atleast this time she's not yelling! )
"Nothing~" Rukawa said and turned away.
"They're arguing. But they're not yelling anymore!" Shiawase whispered to Yamira.
"You want them to yell?" Yamira asked.
"Well it was funny when they were yelling!" Shiawase said. Yamira only sighed.
"Okay." Kiku said and gave up the argument. I bet she's really tired.
"Anyway, does that story answer your question?" Rukawa asked.
"You saw two shadows, you thought they were Ayame and Rikimura, so you followed the shadows. And you got chased around." Kiku said.
"Yep."
"Heres another question." Kiku said.
"Okay, what?" he asked.
"How did you know I left the cave?" ( Good point there buddeh! )
"What's wrong with you? I saw you. Not in the cave. That simple." Rukawa said.
"No I mean why were you making a big deal out of it when you didn't even went to the cave?" Kiku asked.
"Good point. Sorry 'bout that." Rukawa said.
"No problem." Kiku said.
"Where am I going to sleep?" Rukawa suddenly asked.
"Did I say you could stay here?" Yamira said. ( Not this again )
"Eh? That girl is looking for me right? If you don't let me stay then fine. You're just prolonging you're own job." Rukawa said arrogantly.
"You two are really related." Yamira said and sighed.
"Rukawa-san, she was just joking." Nixme said nervously.
"I'm also joking." Rukawa said with a straight face. Then suddenly grinned.
"Anyway, you're sleeping on the couch. Kiku, you're sleeping in the guest room." Yamira said and stood up.
"Why am I supposed to sleep on the couch?" Rukawa complained like a little kid.
"Stop being a baby and go to sleep!" Kiku said.
"Well you get to sleep on a bed so you have nothing to complain about!" Rukawa said, still acting like a little kid.
"Does it make you feel better if I said I'd sleep on the floor?" Kiku asked.
"Yeah!" Rukawa agreed almost immidiately.
"Oh. Then I'm not sleeping on the floor because theres a bed waiting for me." Kiku said and grinned.
"You're mean!" Rukawa said still being childish.
"Of course I am." Kiku said.
"So where is that guest room you're talking about?" Kiku asked. Yamira pointed where it was and Kiku walked towards it.
"Oyasumi."
